IntelliSpend ("IntelliSpend", "we", "us"), a product of Kyron Infotech, helps you track spending automatically. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how it is handled, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier through Firebase Authentication. We use this to create and secure your account.
The accounts, balances, transactions, categories, budgets, savings goals, subscriptions, piggy-bank ("Gullak") entries, and borrow/lend records you add are stored in your private account in Google Cloud Firestore so they persist across sessions and devices and can be shared with members you explicitly invite to a joint account.
With your permission (Android notification access), IntelliSpend reads incoming bank and payment notifications to auto-detect transactions. This parsing happens entirely on your device. The raw notification text is not transmitted to us or any third party. Only a transaction record you choose to save (for example, an amount, merchant, and date) is stored in your account.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the app is used (screens visited, taps, and interaction patterns) so we can improve it. This may be associated with your user identifier and enabled feature flags.
The app includes the Google AdMob SDK (with mediation partners, including Meta Audience Network) and may show ads. Where ads are served, the SDK may access your device's advertising identifier. In regions where it is required (such as the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before serving personalized ads, and fall back to non-personalized ads otherwise.
If you enable the biometric app lock, authentication is performed by your device's operating system. Your fingerprint or face data is never accessed by, or shared with, IntelliSpend.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work:

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
We keep the data you create for as long as your account is active. When you delete your data or account, the records you own are removed from our active systems. Data you contributed to a joint account may remain with that account's owner.
Access to your data is protected by authentication and membership-based access rules, so only you and members you invite can read your records. No secret keys or credentials are bundled in the app. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
IntelliSpend is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your data may be processed on servers operated by our providers in countries other than your own. By using the app, you consent to this processing.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app.
